Life is DIFFICULT and NOT FAIR—DEAL with it!

The “STUFF” in your life and its VALUE

Stuff comes with the territory of LIVING.

Life’s STUFF comes in the form of problems, difficulties, challenges, setbacks, adversities and frustrations.

The only time in our life we won’t have stuff is the day we die.

I believe that Life is Difficult and Not Fair.  If anybody ever told you life wasn’t difficult and was fair, they either lied to you or they didn’t know what they were talking about.

I do not make the statement that Life is Difficult and Not Fair, to depress you.  After all, this message is intended to inspire, motivate and encourage you to live your Best Life.  The reason I bring it up is because in order for you to spend the majority of your life at “Extraordinary”, you need to acknowledge the fact that life will always give you challenges, difficulties, problems, and setbacks.  The sooner we accept this fact of life, the sooner it no longer surprises us and finds us unprepared to deal with it.

In his book, “The Road Less Travelled”, M. Scott Peck in his opening chapter states: “Life is Difficult”.  He continues with… “This is a great truth.  One of the greatest truths.

It is a great truth because once we truly see this truth, we transcend it.  Once we truly know that life is difficult—once we truly understand and accept it—then life is no longer difficult.  Because once it is accepted, the fact that life is difficult
no longer matters.

In other words, “suck it up” and deal with it!

Very often people who are constantly overwhelmed and stressed out by life’s “Stuff” are insufficiently prepared, mentally and emotionally to handle it.  They didn’t understand and accept the fact that a VALUABLE part of life is our experience in dealing with the Stuff that life will throw at us to BRING OUT THE BEST IN US and to see what WE ARE MADE OF.  Herein lies the secret to successfully BENEFIT from life’s STUFF.

“STUFF in life is INEVITABLE.
Being a Victim of Stuff is OPTIONAL.”
