TEACH YOUR CHILDREN TO VIEW EVERY JOB THEY EVER HAVE AS BEING THE BEST JOB THEY EVER HAD
Don’t ever allow your kids to view any job as “JUST” a job because it’s just to make some extra money while they are going to school.
Make sure they understand that the attitude or perception they choose to have of any job will have an impact on their life.
Let’s say for example they get a part time job delivering pizzas.
You want to encourage them to be …THE BEST DARN PIZZA DELIVERY person that this world has ever seen.
The reason you want to do this is because:
- It molds their character.
- It is teaching them to have a high regard for themselves and to be proud of any job they ever have.
- It’s helping them to be a part of the MINORITY of people who “Get To” go to work.
How we view what we do impacts how we feel about ourselves AND how we feel about ourselves influences every important part of our lives.
Our oldest daughter worked at the Customer Service counter in a retail store while she went to high school and university.
Because of her “Get To” view of her part-time job, she learned many of the skills she has today, owning and operating a most successful business.
It isn’t What you do–it’s HOW you do it that matters MOST!
